These terms govern your use of greatmenshealth.com and the services provided by GreaT Men’s Health at our Rincon and Statesboro, Georgia offices. By using this website, booking an appointment, or beginning treatment with us, you agree to what follows. If you don’t agree, we do not recommend using the website or our services.
1. This Website Is Not Medical Advice
Everything on this site, from service pages, articles, pricing, and general information about testosterone, erectile dysfunction, peptides, and weight loss, is educational. Reading it does not create a doctor-patient relationship, and it is not a substitute for an evaluation by a licensed provider. Hormone levels, medication suitability, and dosing are individual. Two men with identical symptoms can need entirely different treatment, which is why we require an in-office exam and comprehensive labs before prescribing anything.
A provider-patient relationship begins only after you have completed an in-office appointment, we have reviewed your labs, and a provider has accepted you for treatment.
2. Not for Emergencies
We do not provide emergency medical care. Our offices keep set business hours, and we do not staff an after-hours emergency line. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, an erection lasting more than four hours, signs of a severe allergic reaction, thoughts of harming yourself, or any other medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not email, message the patient portal, or wait for a callback.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book an appointment or receive treatment. Our hormone and sexual health services are provided to men. Medical weight loss treatment is available to both men and women. You must be physically located in Georgia for us to treat you, including for telemedicine visits, because our providers are licensed to practice in this state.
4. Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows
You can book through our online self-scheduler or by calling (912) 521-5161. Please give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the slot to another patient. Missed appointments may incur a $50 fee.
5. Payment, Subscriptions, and Cancellation
Payment is due at the time of service. Our published prices are listed on our Pricing page and may change; the price in effect when you are billed is the price that applies.
Our testosterone optimization subscription bills monthly and renews automatically until you cancel. To be clear about what that means:
● There is no minimum commitment and no cancellation penalty.
● You may cancel at any time by calling the office.
● Cancelling stops future billing. It does not refund the current billing period or medication already dispensed.
● Prepaid 6- and 12-month plans are discounted 5% and 10% respectively.
Because medications are dispensed specifically for you, dispensed medication is not returnable or refundable.
6. Insurance
We do not bill insurance. We accept FSA and HSA payments. If you want to seek reimbursement from your own insurer, we will provide an invoice, your diagnosis, and supporting documentation on request, but we make no representation that your plan will cover or reimburse any part of your care, and in most cases plans do not reimburse treatment for low testosterone and similar therapies. Any claim you submit is between you and your insurance company.
7. Telemedicine
We use telemedicine for lab reviews and certain follow-ups, mainly so you aren’t driving to an office for a conversation that doesn’t require one. Telemedicine has limits: a provider cannot physically examine you remotely, and technology can fail. If a provider determines that a visit needs to happen in person, we will let you know and reschedule. You must be physically located in Georgia at the time of a telemedicine visit.
8. Prescriptions and Medications
Prescribing is at the clinical discretion of your provider, based on your exam, labs, and history. We are not obligated to prescribe any specific medication or dose, and we may decline to prescribe or may discontinue treatment if we believe it is not clinically appropriate or safe.
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance under federal law. Sharing, selling, or otherwise diverting medication prescribed to you is illegal and will end your treatment with us. Do not adjust your own dosing outside the plan your provider set, and tell us about every other medication and supplement you take.
9. Your Responsibilities as a Patient
● Give accurate, complete health information, including medications, supplements, and prior conditions.
● Show up for scheduled follow-up labs. Monitoring is how we keep treatment safe and adjust it correctly.
● Follow your dosing and administration instructions as written.
● Tell us promptly about side effects or changes in your health.
● Keep your patient portal login private.
10. Patient Portal
We use OptiMantra for scheduling, records, lab results, and messaging. You are responsible for activity under your login. Portal messages are not monitored around the clock and are not appropriate for urgent issues; for anything time-sensitive, call the office; for an emergency, call 911.
11. Third-Party Links and Products
Our site links to outside services, including the OptiMantra patient portal and our Thorne supplement dispensary. We do not control those sites, their content, or their privacy practices, and their own terms govern your use of them. Supplements are not prescription medications and are not evaluated by the FDA to treat or cure any condition.
12. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The text, layout, graphics, and logo on this site belong to GreaT Men’s Health or are used with permission. You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t republish our content, scrape the site, or use our name or logo to imply an affiliation or endorsement that doesn’t exist.
13. Communications and Consent
By giving us your phone number and email, you agree that we may contact you about appointments, labs, prescriptions, and account matters by phone, text, and email. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time; we will still need to reach you about your care. Email and text are not fully secure, and we’ll use the patient portal for anything sensitive.
14. No Guaranteed Results
We describe outcomes many patients experience, such as increased energy, better sleep, improved mood, restored sexual function, and weight loss, because they are common. They are not promises. Individual results depend on your labs, adherence, other health conditions, and factors outside anyone’s control. Nothing on this site or said in a visit should be read as a guarantee of a particular outcome.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent Georgia law allows, GreaT Men’s Health is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. This section does not limit liability for professional medical care, which is governed by Georgia law.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Bulloch County, Georgia.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our services or the law change. The revised version takes effect when posted, with the date at the top updated. Continuing to use the site or our services means you accept the current version.
